American Gem Society Conclave
attendees to 'pop a shot' for JFC
March 31, 2009
Toledo, Ohio--Fruchtman Marketing, a full-service marketing firm for independent retail jewelers and jewelry manufacturers across the country, will sponsor a "Pop-a-Shot" fundraising opportunity for Jewelers For Children (JFC) at the American Gem Society (AGS) Conclave next month.
AGS Conclave attendees will be invited to "pop a shot" using an arcade-style basketball game, with each basket earning $1.00 for JFC.
"Our goal is 1,000 baskets, but regardless of Conclave attendees' hoop skills, we'll present Jewelers For Children with a check for $1,000 at the conclusion of Conclave," Fruchtman Marketing President Ellen Fruchtman said in a media release. "As the chair of the Jewelers For Children Auction Committee, I'm thrilled to support such a worthy cause and worthy charity in a unique and exciting way. I hope to hear a lot of 'nothing but net' over the course of the four days."
Conclave attendees with hoop dreams should visit the Fruchtman Marketing booth, which will be located in the Networking Area on the Gold Level of the Hyatt Regency Chicago.
While there, attendees can also take advantage of a special "trial size" Fruchtman Marketing offer: Through April 30, 2009, the firm is available for hire on a project-by-project basis. (Normally, Fruchtman Marketing services require an annual contract.) In addition, new clients who make an annual commitment will receive one free month of agency services.
Companies or individuals interested in donating a product, service or cash in support of JFC and the Conclave auction, should visit the AGS Web site for more information and to download a donation form.
The AGS Conclave will be held from April 1-4, 2009, at the Hyatt Regency Chicago.
