Fruchtman Marketing Enhances Client Services Through Addition of New Employees and Staff Promotions

TOLEDO, Ohio — August 22, 2012 — Fruchtman Marketing, a full-service marketing firm based in Toledo, Ohio specializing in the fine jewelry industry, announced today the addition of three new employees and the promotion of two existing staff members.

Angela Ash, former Vice President of Client Services at Fruchtman, has been promoted to Executive Vice President, with responsibility for seeking out and implementing innovative promotions, products and services for both the agency and its clients. Jarett Walen, previously Fruchtman’s Interactive Media Director, has now assumed the duties of Senior Web Engineer charged with developing progressive web elements that enhance client image and increase online sales effectiveness.

Tom Marciw, most recently of Starcom Worldwide, Detroit, Michigan, has been hired as Media Director. In his previous position as Starcom’s Media Director he planned media for Chevy, Chevy Diversity (Hispanic, African American, Asian and GLBT), Chevy Fleet, Certified Service (formerly Goodwrench), ACDelco, GM Certified Used Vehicles, GM Performance Parts, GM Supplier and Fleet, GM College and Military, Whirlpool and Harley Davidson. His overarching media strategies played an integral part in driving Chevy Silverado to top sales position and increasing Certified Service (Goodwrench) sales for three consecutive years. He was also instrumental in a major TV integration/partnership with Telemundo that inserted Chevy vehicles into novella story lines. While at Starcom, he won the 2003 Cannes advertising media award for a HUMMER media plan and on-point audience targeting. Previous to Starcom, Marciw worked as Senior Media Planner for FCB (Bozell) in Southfield, Michigan.

Nate Khoury, most recently Regional Manager of Marketing, Graphic Arts and Print Production at Mercy Health Partners/Catholic Health Partners, has assumed the position of Director of Creative and Production Services at Fruchtman Marketing. At Mercy, Khoury managed day-to-day operations in the graphic arts and print operations department; supervised the purchasing, storing, and controlling of inventories; negotiated pricing with vendors; and worked in partnership with advertising and marketing agencies to develop campaigns, events and product service lines. Khoury’s further responsibilities included brand compliance and oversight of all creative representing Mercy Health Partners. During his tenure, he further consolidated and centralized multiple hospital graphic and print departments into one, and reduced the healthcare provider’s operational budget from $2M to $1.5M by implementing process improvement plans.

Jill Nissen joins the Fruchtman Marketing team as Account Coordinator. A graduate of the University of Toledo with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Nissen served most recently as an Account Executive for Electronic Merchant Systems in Independence, Ohio, helping small- to mid-size merchants grow their customer base through the implementation of customized transaction processing and electronic payment services and products. An earlier internship as a marketing consultant at Venita Technology Group also gave Nissen valuable experience in branding generation and website development and design. Her reputation for maintaining positive client relationships will be put to good use during the daily communications between Fruchtman Marketing and its clients.
