Tony Schmenk,
Senior Art Director

Tony is a talented and versatile artist who creates in media from hand-drawn illustrations to computer-aided art. He Attended Kent State University where he was a member of the Delta Chi Fraternity. During his membership he served on the philanthropy committee for three years. Tony transferred to Bowling Green State University in 1995 and graduated in 1997 with a bachelor of fine arts degree with a graphic design concentration.

Tony has been in the design industry for 11 years. He began his career at Kennedy Printing in Findlay, Ohio. He then worked as a graphic designer for four years with After5Design. Tony ventured out on his own and started DigitalInk, a one-man design shop, which exposed him to numerous agencies with a variety of campaigns for multiple clients. He has worked on campaigns for hospitals; schools; a motorcycle manufacture; various nonprofits, including the United Way, the Juvenile Diabetes Association, The American Red Cross, and Healing America; companies in the automotive industry; political campaigns, and Whirlpool. These projects led him to Fruchtman Marketing, which made him an offer he did not want to refuse. He has been with Fruchtman Marketing since 2004 and in 2007 became the Senior Art Director.

During his career, Tony’s work has been recognized by Women in Communications and the Advertising Club of Toledo, with multiple Crystal and Addy Awards.

Tony likes to spend his spare time with his wife and two children. Other hobbies include drawing when he can find the time, comic books (he just can’t let them go), and attending car shows with his 76 vette.

Tony thinks like a quad core mac’d out G5. Acts like the man of steel. And grows like a Chia Pet®.
